FCB STEEL · Privacy & Cookies

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 12 October 2026

How we handle website quotation inquiries, business correspondence and cookie preferences.

1. Who is responsible

Tianjin Ronghe Gongchuang Building Materials Sales Co., Ltd. (天津融合共创建筑材料销售有限公司) is responsible for handling quotation-inquiry information submitted through fcbsteel.com. FCB STEEL is the website’s export brand.

Privacy contact: sales@fcbsteel.com

Use the subject “Privacy request — FCB STEEL” to help us identify your request. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or identity documents in an initial inquiry.

2. Information you provide

The quotation form asks for your name, company, country or region, business email, product, size or specification, quantity and destination port. You may also provide a phone or WhatsApp number, grade or standard, and additional requirements. Subsequent correspondence may contain information needed to clarify the specification or quotation.

The current quotation form has no file-upload field. Please limit what you submit to information relevant to your business request and avoid unnecessary sensitive personal information.

3. Purposes and grounds for use

We use inquiry information to review your requirements, prepare and discuss a quotation, answer questions and follow up on the requested business relationship. We also use relevant records to maintain service security, address disputes and meet applicable record-keeping obligations.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, this may be steps taken at your request before a contract when you are the prospective contracting party; our legitimate interests in responding to business representatives and protecting our services, subject to applicable safeguards; or applicable legal obligations. Consent is used where required for optional cookies or optional services. Submitting an inquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.

4. Form records, emails and technical information

Submitted inquiries are stored in our WordPress website through SureForms. Both language forms are configured to exclude the user IP address, browser name and device name from form entries. This applies to form entries, not to all hosting, security, CDN or email records.

Inquiry details are included in notifications to our sales mailbox and a designated internal copy mailbox. The form also sends an acknowledgement to the business email entered by the sender. These email copies are included in the inquiry-retention rules below.

Hosting, content-delivery, security and email services may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times, requested resources, browser information and delivery records to operate and protect their services.

5. Service providers and processing locations

The website uses Hostinger hosting and its content delivery network (CDN), and Tencent business-email and QQ email services for inquiry notifications and correspondence. WordPress, SureForms, SureMail and SureCookie provide website, form, email-integration and preference-management functions.

Our inquiry operations are based in China. The inspected hosting control panel identifies the hosting server location as Brazil; CDN delivery and other service processing may involve additional locations. This does not mean every email, log, backup or CDN node is stored in Brazil. Processing may take place outside your country. Contact us for information about the service arrangements and any transfer safeguards applicable to your inquiry.

Access and use must be limited to authorised personnel and service functions needed for the stated purposes. An inquiry is not permission to disclose your information publicly or add it to a marketing list.

6. How long inquiry information is kept

From the effective date, the following rules guide our quarterly manual retention reviews:

  • Internal test records: retain for 30 days after test acceptance. Confirmed invalid or spam records are retained for 30 days after classification.
  • Closed inquiries that did not result in a sale: retain for 12 months from the last substantive business communication.
  • Active quotations and follow-up: retain while the business discussion is ongoing; apply the closed-inquiry rule once it ends.
  • Completed transactions, contracts, financial records and disputes: assess separately according to applicable obligations and the purpose for which the record is still required. The ordinary 12-month rule does not automatically apply to these records.

The review covers WordPress entries, exports, the sales mailbox and internal email copies. This is a manual process, not automatic deletion based only on the form-submission date. Any longer retention for an applicable obligation, claim or documented investigation must be considered separately.

Technical logs and backups have separate service and recovery requirements. Their retention is determined by the relevant service settings, applicable obligations and the period needed for security or recovery; a single fixed period has not been established for every such record. The inquiry periods above do not promise immediate removal from all historical backups.

7. Cookies and your choices

Cookies and similar browser storage can support website operation, language and privacy choices. Staff sign-in can also use WordPress authentication and security cookies; those are separate from quotation-form entries.

You can reopen the preference panel using Cookie Preferences in the website footer. Necessary cookies are presented separately from optional functional, analytics, marketing and unclassified categories. A category shown in the panel does not by itself establish that a corresponding service is active.

You can decline optional categories or change your choices in that panel. Your browser also provides cookie controls; blocking necessary storage may affect website functions or prevent preferences from being remembered. Following a link to another website subjects that visit to the other website’s privacy practices.

8. Privacy requests

Write to sales@fcbsteel.com to ask about your information, request access or correction, or request deletion. Depending on applicable law and the processing involved, you may also have rights to restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent or a complaint to the competent authority. Withdrawal does not undo processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Contacting us from the email used for the inquiry helps verification. We may ask for proportionate additional information to protect your records. Requests are handled within the time limits required by applicable law; some information may need to be retained for an applicable obligation or claim. Changing cookie preferences does not itself delete existing inquiry or email records.

9. Updates

We may update this policy when our services, processing or retention arrangements change. The effective date above identifies this version. Contact us if you need clarification before submitting information.
