Quality Checks at Key Supply Stages
The inspection plan is matched to the product, applicable standard and purchase contract. Buyers may specify additional tests or nominate an independent inspection company before production.
Specification Review
Confirm product type, grade, standard, dimensions, tolerances, surface treatment and packing requirements before order execution.
Material Verification
Check heat or batch information and available mill documentation against the agreed purchase specification.
Dimensional Inspection
Verify key dimensions such as outside diameter, wall thickness, width, height and length according to the product.
Visual & Surface Check
Inspect appearance, straightness, coating or finish, markings and visible damage before packing.
Packing & Marking
Review bundles, straps, end protection, labels and shipping marks for export handling and identification.
Loading Records
Container condition and loading photos can be organized to document quantity, packing and dispatch.
Documents Available by Order Requirement
Document availability depends on the mill, product and contract. Confirm the required document type during quotation so it can be included in the supply plan.
- Commercial invoice and packing list
- Mill Test Certificate (MTC), when specified and available
- Certificate of origin, subject to order and issuing requirements
- Inspection report or loading photo record
- Third-party inspection support by buyer request
- Shipping and customs documents according to trade terms
Supply Based on Agreed Standards
FCB STEEL supports commonly requested ASTM, EN, JIS and GB specifications. The exact grade, standard, tolerance and testing requirement must be stated in the quotation and purchase contract.
