Hollow Sections Matched to the Fabrication Requirement
Square hollow sections (SHS) and rectangular hollow sections (RHS) combine closed-section geometry with convenient cutting and welding. They are commonly selected where clean lines, torsional resistance and straightforward fabrication are important.
FCB STEEL reviews the purchase specification before quotation. Grade equivalence, wall thickness, corner radius, dimensional tolerance and surface condition should be confirmed rather than assumed.

How to Describe the Tube You Need
Use outside dimensions and wall thickness
For an accurate offer, identify the section in a format such as 100 × 100 × 4 mm or 150 × 100 × 5 mm, followed by the required length.
- A / B: outside side dimensions
- t: nominal wall thickness
- L: required fixed or random length
- Finish: black, galvanized, painted or specified coating
Section mass and quantity should be calculated from the confirmed standard and actual ordered dimensions.
Prepared for Fabrication and Export
Processing scope is quoted against drawings and inspection requirements.

Fixed-Length Cutting
Cut lengths, end condition and dimensional tolerance are confirmed before production.

Drilling, Punching & Welding
Secondary processing can be reviewed from approved drawings and quantities.

Galvanized or Coated Finish
Surface system and coating requirements are stated in the confirmed order.
Where Square and Rectangular Tubes Are Used
Section selection depends on design load, span, connection detail, corrosion exposure and local engineering requirements.

Before Requesting a Quotation
What information is required for an accurate quote?
Send SHS or RHS, outside dimensions, wall thickness, grade or standard, length, quantity, surface treatment and destination port. Drawings are recommended for processed parts.
Can non-standard sizes and fixed lengths be supplied?
They can be reviewed. Availability depends on dimension, wall thickness, quantity, mill capability and tolerance. The confirmed quotation states the accepted specification.
Which standards and grades are available?
The catalog data supports Q235/Q345 and EN 10210. ASTM A500, EN 10219, JIS G3466, GB/T 6728 and other grades can be reviewed against the exact inquiry; no substitution is made without approval.
Can galvanized square tubes be supplied?
Yes, subject to size and order review. State whether pre-galvanized or hot-dip galvanized material is required and provide any coating requirement.
Can third-party inspection be arranged?
Yes. SGS, Bureau Veritas, TUV or another agreed inspection company can be arranged at the buyer’s request, with scope and cost confirmed before order.
Do you publish a fixed steel price?
No. Steel and ocean-freight costs change frequently. We prepare a current FOB, CFR or CIF offer after confirming specification, quantity, destination port, delivery period and quotation validity.
